Cape Leadwort, Plumbago capensis or auriculata, is a leggy shrublike climber with well branched, arching stems. It is vigorous, easy to grow and can bloom spring through fall with large clusters of sky blue flowers. Moderately drought tolerant once established. Prune any time as needed to promote branching and to shape.
