Rosa John Cabot is the first Explorer Rose hybrid chosen by Canada's Department of Agriculture in Ottawa for hardiness and beauty. John Cabot has semidouble blooms in a pale red-purple color and it blooms profusely for 6 weeks in early summer. It repeats lightly until another big show just before fall. The fragrance is light, but the plant is easy to grow and very generous.
