A very sweet old-fashioned rose with silver-pink flowers. A prolific bloomer with thick, healthy foliage, it is an excellent choice for screening. Madame Caroline Testout was planted along the streets of Portland Oregon at the time of its founding, and it is responsible for the 'City of Roses' motto. May be tolerant of some light shade. Pernet-Ducher, 1890.
