Worley, c1985. This hybrid was developed in California and is a successful cross of caerulea and Amethyst with certainly some of the best of each. Passiflora Jeanette will bloom all summer, has nice rich green trifoliate leaves and really beautiful flowers. The petals are deep mauve with some white striping down the center. The corona filaments are very long and full with a deep, almost burgundy, purple base and blue at the ends. best of all, it's proven to be reliably hardy in zone 7 and even has been successfully grown in parts of zone 6. Protected locations are best for colder climates.
