Rich dark purple flowers with narrow tepals make Clematis Harlow Carr special. It was named for the Royal Horticultural Society's show garden. The flowers are up to 4 inches across and they twist as they mature. The exact hydrid parents are a secret of the breeder but there's clearly integrifolia in the mix and probably a dark large flowered hybdrid, too. Pruning: 3
